[BETA] Markit! Premiere Support

Markit! Beta now supports parsing xml for Premiere Pro (might work for FCP 7 too). The Beta is only available through direct download from our website, not through Apple Store.

Similar to using Markit! with FCPX, you need to import your footage into Premiere, then export an xml. But you don't need to worry about exporting it with creation date metadata.

Because Premiere won't export with creation date in it's xml, Markit! will automatically follow the media path in your xml to fetch the dates. So make sure that the media is accessible.

With Premiere, it works fine if you import the new xml with the media already in your project, you'll get your markers just like that!

The only thing to watch out for is that by default, Premiere saves markers to XMP in the media, which means that after you created a marker, it will appear in every project you import the clip. So check or uncheck this box in Premiere preferences according to your needs.
